ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Former US President Donald Trump declared "GAME OVER” during the hearing of his election interference case in Georgia which could potentially disqualify Fulton County's District Attorney, Fani Willis.

Per DailyMail, the former president took to his beleaguered social networking platform, Truth Social, to celebrate while DA Willis denied allegations of indecorously hiring her boyfriend, Nathan Wade, to assist in prosecuting Trump.

The proceedings were further complicated by a claim made by Willis' college friend, who asserted that her relationship with Wade began in 2019, three years prior to the disclosure made in court filings.

What did Trump say in his Truth Social post?

The 77-year-old Republican presidential frontrunner wrote on Truth Social, “MSNBC JUST STATED GAME OVER FOR THE FAKE FANI WILLIS CASE IN GEORGIA. ANOTHER SCAM COORDINATED WITH THE BIDEN WHITE HOUSE FOR PURPOSES OF ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!”

Throughout Thursday, February 15, afternoon, Donald Trump posted video clips of various news organizations' coverage of the hearing, with phrases like “IT'S A GAME CHANGER.”

The declaration made by the former President is regarding MSNBC’s legal analyst Caroline Polisi's remarks about the revelation of new testimony that contradicts Willis, which Polisi described as "game over for her" in the election fraud trial against Donald Trump.

If this new information proves to be true, it could establish that the relationship between Wade and Willis began prior to Wade's hiring in the Georgia election interference case, which Willis is currently pursuing against Trump.

This fact could potentially provide grounds for a judge to disqualify them from the case.

What was the bombshell testimony?

The testimony of Robin Yeartie, DA Fani Willis' college friend, contradicts the information provided by both her and Wade concerning the timeline of the commencement of their romantic relationship.

According to Yeartie, there is unequivocal evidence that Willis and Wade were romantically involved before the latter's hiring in November 2021.

Yeartie's testimony is particularly significant as she confirmed her certainty regarding the matter.

In contrast, Wade testified that the relationship started in 2022, but he had to respond to several questions regarding his divorce filing and travel with Willis.

Yeartie testified that the DA leading the Trump prosecution personally informed her of her romantic relationship with Wade.

Yeartie and Willis had been friends since college in the 1990s, but their relationship has since soured.

Yeartie is now testifying on behalf of an alleged Trump accomplice who wants to get Willis and Wade disqualified from the case.

The relationship between Willis and Wade was already acknowledged by Wade, and Willis confirmed it in a court filing after Attorney Ashleigh Merchant first introduced the allegations in a bombshell filing to disqualify the District Attorney and the Special Prosecutor from the case.

However, Yeartie's testimony suggests that the relationship existed before Wade joined Willis' staff, which could prove problematic for Willis.

Yeartie testified that Willis informed her about meeting Wade at a judicial conference in 2019.

“Ms Willis and Mr Wade began their romantic relationship soon after,” Yeartie said, under questioning by Merchant.

“When I ask you personal do you take that to mean romantic?” Merchant asked.

“Yes,” she replied.

On Thursday afternoon, Willis appeared in court to testify against allegations that she had engaged in an intimate relationship with her former boyfriend and prosecutor, Wade, on the first day they met.

Willis refuted these claims, which she deemed to be "extremely offensive," and characterized them as “dishonest”.

Willis further stated that she is no longer associated with a witness who claimed that her relationship with Wade began three years earlier than they had previously stated.

This testimony by Willis was remarkable in its steadfast denial of the allegations and its forceful rejection of any suggestion of wrongdoing.

Internet weighs in on twist in Georgia election interference case

People on X expressed their opinions regarding the puzzling yet ever-evolving case involving former President Donald Trump, as the case witnessed another bombshell revelation on Thursday following Robin Yeartie's testimony.

One X user said: "Remember that any allegation of misconduct by Fani does not exonerate Trump. Even if Fani had an improper relationship, we should treat her and the case against Trump seriously. There is no way her personal life and behaviors could possibly affect this isolated case against him."

Another user wrote: "Nothing is over. She won the day and he’s still going to prison when all is said and done. Sorry cult!"

Another user claimed: "Trump's crime is his CONSPIRACY to STEAL the 2020 Election. There is nothing fake about Fani Willis OR trump's crimes. Game not over. It's a shame trump considers this a game."

One user argued: "I didn't know DAs could keep the cash from their campaigns for slush funds. Laws must have changed in Fulton County."

Another X user remarked: "Unbelievable widespread corruption in our judicial systems! These cases are to cause undue harm for Trump with these lies and if left unattended and unchecked by decent judges and attorneys- this will ruin our country! Fani should be in jail!"

Finally, this user tweeted: "Hell I would want them 2 dumbasses to try to prosecute me. If you couldn't beat them 2 idiots you need to go to prison GO TRUMP."
