'Bitter’ Trump slammed for mocking Nikki Haley over rally attendance, continuing attacks on her husband
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, criticized Nikki Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina, for her sparsely-attended campaign rally, calling her "an embarrassment" to her military husband, per a report by The Washington Times.
Trump's remarks implied that Haley's lack of support from the public reflected poorly on her and her family.
What did Trump post against Nikki Haley?
Trump wrote in a Truth Social post, “Tricky Nikki is CRASHING in the Polls. She is 15 points down to Crooked Joe Biden, and I’m crushing him in all Polls. She’s got no reason to make it to the South Carolina Primary.”
“The other day, she had almost no people attend her ‘rally’ (We had thousands and thousands who couldn’t even get into the large arena), an embarrassment to her wonderful husband, in Africa,” the 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner continued. “I think he should come back home to help save her dying campaign.”
The two Republican presidential contenders are making preparations for the South Carolina primary scheduled for February 24.
The state holds particular significance for Nikki Haley, given that it is her home state, and she has invested a considerable amount of time campaigning there over the past few weeks.

It is worth noting that Haley’s spouse, Maj Michael Haley, is currently deployed in the Horn of Africa with the South Carolina Army National Guard.
Notably, the former president continues to maintain a lead over Haley in the polls in South Carolina.

His remarks came despite the fact that he has triumphed over Haley, his former United Nations ambassador, in the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire and Nevada primaries.
