‘Don’t you dare’: Jason Kelce says his wife Kylie warned him to be on ‘best behaviour’ while meeting Taylor Swift

ERIE COUNTY, NEW YORK: Jason Kelce had a wild time at the Kansas City Chiefs game on January 21 where he supported his brother Travis Kelce and met his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

However, his wife Kylie Kelce was not amused by his antics, especially when he went shirtless in the stadium seats.

Jason Kelce ignored his wife’s warning and took off his shirt

Jason Kelce revealed on his and Travis Kelce’s 'New Heights' podcast on January 24 that his wife Kylie Kelce was unhappy with his wild celebrations. "I don't think she was happy about it to be honest with you," Jason said. 

He said that he had given his wife a heads-up before he decided to go shirtless and jump out of the suite. "I said I'm taking my shirt off and I'm jumping out of that suite. And she said, 'Jason, don't you dare,'" he revealed.

Undeterred by the warning, he told Kylie, “I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this," E! News noted.

Jason Kelce also explained that his wife had asked him to be on his best behavior because they were meeting Taylor Swift.

But, he argued that his shirtless stunt was part of his charm and that he had similarly met his wife. "She was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor," Jason said. 

"She's like, 'Be on your best behavior,'" he remembered, adding, "I was like, 'Kylie, the first thing I met you I was blacked out drunk and fell asleep at the bar."

"This is part of the Jason Kelce charm. I want to make my best first impression. This is my best chance,” he said.

Despite his wife’s disapproval, Jason Kelce’s gamble paid off as Taylor Swift loved him. Travis Kelce confirmed that on the podcast, saying, “Well Tay said she absolutely loved you.”

Jason Kelce also lifted a young fan up to show Swift a homemade sign and made her laugh with his raucous actions. Pat Mahomes, the father of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was also heard shouting from the VIP box, “Jason! Hey, Kylie said get your a** back in here," Daily Mail previously reported. 

When Travis found out later about his brother celebrating shirtless in the Chiefs' suite, he said enthusiastically, "My brother was shirtless?! I love that guy!."
