WASHINGTON, DC: The White House insists Donald Trump is in “excellent health,” but his recent trips to Walter Reed have sparked a new round of speculation about the president’s health.

However, CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz brushed aside the speculation, insisting that Trump undergoes the tests simply because he enjoys seeing how well he performs.

After JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Scott Bessent, it was Dr Oz’s turn to handle the White House briefing room as press secretary Karoline Leavitt remains on maternity leave.

Dr Oz offered a glowing assessment of Trump's well-being, saying he is in “spectacular” health, citing medical records that show the 79-year-old has “excellent” physical condition.

As the administrator took the podium, he was asked why Trump has had four times the number of “regular” checkups recently than is considered normal. “I have talked to the president about what he’s sent to all of you, and I think it’s just a routine, regular exam,” he replied.

“That amount of energy and that amount of mental acuity does not exist in a vacuum. You have to have a vessel to carry it, and the president has a unique ability to just keep going at all hours of the day with remarkable strength.”

A second reporter pressed Oz on the issue, questioning why the president continues to undergo medical evaluations if he is truly in such exceptional health.

“I think he likes the results,” claimed the former TV personality. “He does really well, uh, he aces the test every single day. And I do actually believe that he’s curious to make sure everything is going in the right direction.”

Earlier in the briefing, Oz pointed to Trump's appearance on his television show a decade ago, recalling that the future president shared “spectacular” health records.

“I had the president on my show 10 years ago, and he also presented records, and at the time I was stunned at how well he was doing, because so many of these numbers naturally over time will start going in the wrong direction,” said Oz, who used to host 'The Dr Oz Show.'

Trump touts latest medical exam results

Trump, set to turn 80 this month and become the nation’s oldest president, has made four trips to Walter Reed since reclaiming the White House.

Following his most recent trip, Trump again touted his own good health in a Truth Social post earlier in the week, saying he “checked out perfectly.”

Trump earned a flawless score on a cognitive screening test and tipped the scales at 238 pounds, marking a modest increase from last year's examination.

The medical memo also cited minor leg swelling and hand bruising, which physicians said were consistent with regular handshaking and aspirin use.

The president’s physician also reported that Trump “remains in excellent health” in a memo released by the White House.

“President Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function,” White House physician Capt Sean Barbabella wrote in a summary at the end of the report.
