Trump insists exam went smoothly
Trump underwent the physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, continuing a string of recent visits tied to routine monitoring and earlier medical evaluations.
Despite growing public curiosity, the president did not release a physician’s report or disclose specifics from the checkup.
Instead, he offered only a short statement emphasizing that the exam produced positive results.

"Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House," Trump said.
The president has frequently contrasted his stamina and schedule with that of former President Joe Biden, often portraying himself as more energetic despite being only a few years younger.
Trump became the oldest person ever sworn into office when he began his second term in January 2025.
Trump's bruises fuel speculations
Interest in Trump’s health grew sharply last year after several images circulated online showing swelling around his ankles, visible bruising on his hands, and redness across parts of his neck.
Officials reportedly said the hand discoloration was linked to the president’s constant handshaking during campaign events and official appearances, while doctors described the leg swelling as a common vascular issue rather than a serious medical condition.
Still, the photographs triggered widespread speculation online, particularly given Trump’s age and the increasing attention surrounding the health of national political leaders.

Questions surrounding Trump’s health also resurfaced last year after he revealed he had undergone an MRI scan during another medical evaluation.
The disclosure drew attention because an MRI is not typically considered standard practice during routine presidential physicals.
At first, the White House seemingly avoided explaining why the scan had been ordered, but Trump later defended it while boasting about the outcome. “I had an MRI. The doctor said it was the best result he has ever seen as a doctor,” he said.
