She continued, “What year was it that we met in the newsroom? 1922?” before mentioning, “It started this morning, and I was on my way to yoga class. And I am taking the next later one so I can watch it.”

The ‘50 First Dates’ star also moved her camera from her to the television to show her fans a scene from the movie.

‘I had to take in this moment’

In the caption, Barrymore once again expressed her admiration for Sandler as she noted, “I love you so much @adamsandler. The Wedding Singer came on my TV as I was getting ready to leave the house and I had to take in this moment and watch it.”

Another fan said, “I always wonder if actors stop and watch their shows when they come on TV. Now I know! You’re the best by the way!”

A third shared, “We need more movies with you and Adam ❤️.”

Someone else stated, “Can I pause and celebrate Drew?! She’s a person, yes, but the way she’s crying at the tv, hair not done, skipped yoga, and has a normal-sized room 🫶🏽✨ she’s truly relatable to us non-celebrity folks (especially skipping yoga).”

A fan added, “Drew, I cry every time! And what’s even sweeter… is watching it with my teenagers. I love how they appreciate the Rom Com’s I grew up on! 🥹”

Others left comments on Facebook, with one fan saying, “The best movie!!! My husband and I quote it ALL the time!”

A second user commented, “Love love love love. I watch The Wedding Singer whenever I'm feeling down. One of my all-time favorites.”

“The best movie ever! Love everything about it ❤️❤️ I could recite it word for word,” another comment read.
