Elle King marries longtime partner Dan Tooker in Tennessee: ‘Best day of my life’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elle King is a married woman now, as she recently said “I do” to her longtime partner, Dan Tooker.
The exact date of their wedding has not been confirmed, but King announced the news on Sunday, October 4, through an Instagram post. The photos showed that the ceremony took place outdoors, with rustic decorations.

The 37-year-old singer wore a fitted ivory satin gown featuring a plunging neckline, a dramatic flared skirt and a train for her special day. She completed her look with a sheer veil.
Her now-husband donned a dark charcoal double-breasted suit paired with a black shirt. King shared her happiness in the caption, writing, “Husband and wife. Best day of my life.”
The tattoo artist also shared the wedding photos on his Instagram Stories, revealing a beautiful moss-green cake decorated with floral accents and miniature fondant figurines resembling King and Tooker.
Another picture shared on Instagram Stories revealed that the Grammy-nominated singer and Tooker got married in the woods in Tennessee.
King and Tooker's romance began in 2019 when they met after she visited his tattoo shop for a new tattoo. They got engaged in 2020 and welcomed their first child, Lucky, in 2021.

However, their relationship faced challenges. In 2023, King revealed that she and Tooker were taking a break. Things eventually worked out, and the couple reconciled.
In September 2024, the ‘High Road’ hitmaker told PEOPLE, “We're back together. We had to grow.” At the time, King also credited Lucky with bringing her and Tooker back together.
“He's definitely brought me and his dad back together just because, what are we doing? We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let's put our weapons down. Come on. This is it. This is life. It doesn't get better than this. This is worth trying,” she explained.

The ‘Drunk’ singer, who was previously married to Andrew Ferguson from 2016 to 2017, had also revealed that they “bought a really gorgeous new house in the mountains of Nashville. I'm very happy, I'm very content, which is nice, and I don't know if I've ever really felt that, so it's a blessing.”
King and Tooker welcomed their second child in 2025. In June, she paid tribute to him on the occasion of Father’s Day.
“Happy Father’s Day to @tattooker the love of my life. I’m proud that our two boys have you as their role model. Champion of art, biggest of hearts, you are the definition of masculinity,” King wrote.
