COTSWOLDS, ENGLAND: Ellen DeGeneres looked unrecognizable in her recent Instagram post as she appears to have undergone a major hair transformation after leaving the United States.
DeGeneres, who left the US and settled in the English countryside, has changed her hair color from blonde to brunette. The surprising change was visible in a video, in which the former talk show host was seen trying to mow the lawn, presumably at her country home.

Ellen DeGeneres captioned the post, "Portia thought it would be fun to film my first time on the mower. She was right."
The former talk show host was seen riding the lawn mower through an open grassy field in the Instagram video.
The viral clip showed that the new experience initially appeared to be going well for DeGeneres. However, the video was then cut to the star needing help from a man who pushed the mower up a steep hill on the property, Page Six reported.
She wrote in the video, "How it started. How it ended."
Interestingly, DeGeneres was first spotted with darker hair in November last year, when she and her wife Portia de Rossi were pictured on a night out with friends.
The video was shared by a friend of the couple, who were seen having fun at The Farmer’s Dog pub, after they left the US following Donald Trump’s second presidential win, per the outlet.

DeGeneres and de Rossi reportedly settled down in the Cotswolds in South West England, nearly two hours from London.
At the time, insiders informed TMZ that the couple wanted to "get the hell out" of the US immediately after Trump's win over Kamala Harris.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's plan to cut ties with the United States has taken a step further as one of their final properties in the US was sold for around $5 million in March.
The couple reduced their property portfolio by selling their second property in Montecito recently after relocating to England, the Daily Mail reported.
DeGeneres reportedly listed her 1,691-square-foot Spanish bungalow on March 10 for $4,995,000.
The property consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and was sold less than two weeks after its initial listing. DeGeneres is expected to have gotten around $5.2 million from the sale.
Moreover, the property also includes 1,691 square feet of space, along with a private primary suite consisting of "own patio, spa-like bath, and generous closet space," as per People.
The listing mentioned, "A sound fence ensures privacy and serenity, while the spacious backyard offers room for a pool or guest house all within moments of the beach, Coral Casino, and Lower Village."
