LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Elon Musk's daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson depicted her father as a harsh absentee parent who bullied her for appearing queer and feminine and lied about her medical care, in an interview on Thursday.

For context, during a recent interview with psychologist and conservative commentator Jordan Peterson, Musk misgendered Wilson, used her dead name, and described her coming out as transgender as being "killed by the woke mind virus."

Vivian Jenna Wilson says Elon Musk ‘was under assumption’

Following Elon Musk’s comments, Vivian Wilson, a 20-year-old college student studying languages, shared her first public interview with NBC News.

In an interview posted online and on social media, Musk stated that his daughter was “not a girl” and was figuratively “dead.” He claimed he had been “tricked” into authorizing trans-related medical treatment for her when she was 16.

Wilson refuted Musk's claims, stating that after some initial hesitation, he fully understood what he was doing when he agreed to her treatment, which required parental consent.

“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go, unchallenged,” she said. “Which I’m not going to do because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”

She then accused Musk of being largely absent from her life despite having joint custody and of bullying her for being queer and exhibiting feminine traits, including allegedly urging her to lower her voice as a young child.

“He was cold. He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic,” she said.

Wilson recounted a specific incident from fourth grade when a road trip turned out to be an advertisement for one of Musk’s cars. She recalled, “He was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high.”

Wilson, the daughter of Musk and his first wife, author Justine Musk, took particular issue with Musk’s claim in the Peterson interview that he had been “tricked” into approving her gender-affirming medical care.

“He was not by any means tricked,” Wilson said, describing how Musk read the medical documents about her care multiple times before providing parental approval for treatments including puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy.

“They save lives. Let’s not get that twisted,” she said in the NBC interview. “They definitely allowed me to thrive.”

Vivian Wilson says she hasn’t spoken to Elon Musk in years

Vivian Wilson revealed she hasn't spoken to Elon Musk in about four years and refused to let him define her.

“I would like to emphasize one thing: I am an adult. I am 20 years old. I am not a child,” she stated. “My life should be defined by my own choices.”

During his interview, Musk brought attention to Wilson by discussing their relationship in a live-streamed video interview with Peterson, expressing his lack of support for Wilson’s gender identity.

“I lost my son, essentially,” Musk said, using Wilson’s birth name, a deadname for transgender people, and claimed she was “dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

Musk also said Wilson was “born gay and slightly autistic,” and at age 4, fit certain gay stereotypes, like loving musicals and using “fabulous!” to describe clothing.

Wilson responded that these anecdotes weren't true, although she did display stereotypically feminine behaviors as a child.

She also addressed Musk’s recent comments in a series of posts on Threads on Thursday.

“He doesn’t know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there,” she wrote. “And in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness.”

I’ve been reduced to a happy little stereotype,” she continued. “I think that says alot about how he views queer people and children in general.”
