BEL AIR, CALIFORNIA: Tributes are pouring in for Quincy Jones after his death on Sunday, November 3.

The multi-talented artist was a bandleader, label executive, film composer, TV and movie producer and he was mostly famous for working with pop icon Michael Jackson, reported People.

Music giants remember Quincy Jones

Fellow music producer Clive Davis said, "Quincy Jones was a true giant of music. Whether it was jazz, pop, r&b or rock, no genre of music escaped his genius."

"Among the greats he collaborated with were Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Miles Davis, Count Basie, Ray Charles and Lesley Gore. Say ‘We Are The World’ and say ‘The Color Purple’ and you’ll understand the range of his music. He was the ultimate music renaissance man and a true inspiration to all of us in music,” he added, according to Billboard.

Elton John also rememered Jones and shared a picture with the legend on Instagram. "Nobody had a career as incredible as Quincy Jones. He played with the best and he produced the best. What a guy. Loved him. Together at our @ejaf Oscar Viewing Party. Always a loyal supporter of this important fundraiser 🙏🏻🙏🏻" he wrote alongside the photo.

Internet mourns death of Quincy Jones at 91

Netizens joined the music industry to pay tribute to the legendary music producer Quincy Jones after his death on November 3.

One user said, "He lived to see thriller by Michael Jackson go trending again."

"We loosing so many legends May he rest in peace," another wrote.

"91 beautiful years dude worked with and helped make some of the greatest to ever do it. Couldn’t ask for a better life. Rest in power goat," expressed an individual.

A fan said, "I’m so heartbroken. I only ever encountered Quincy Jones once briefly and I’m grateful I did. He lived a long illustrious life and his legacy will live on forever and then some. Thank you to Quincy for the way you touched us all."
