Emily Osment reflects on 33rd birthday and divorce settlement on the same day: ‘33 climb a tree!’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Emily Osment is embracing a new chapter in her life with major personal changes.
The actress, best known for her roles in 'Hannah Montana' and 'Young Sheldon', turned 33 on March 10, the same day her divorce from Jack Anthony was finalized.

According to legal documents obtained by People, the divorce settlement came just three days after she had officially filed, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple, who had only been married for less than two months, had a prenuptial agreement in place and did not share any children.
Osment and Anthony tied the knot on October 12, 2023, in what was supposed to be the beginning of a lifelong journey together.
However, by December 7, just eight weeks later, the couple had separated, ultimately leading to Osment’s decision to file for divorce in early March 2024.
Speaking about her choice, Osment reflected on the importance of making decisive moves in life, telling People, “I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”

Osment chose to mark her 33rd birthday with a getaway to the scenic Ojai Valley Inn.
On March 12, she took to Instagram to share glimpses of her experience, posting pictures of herself climbing and swinging from a tree.
In the caption, she wrote, “33 climb a tree!!” and also took a moment to express gratitude for the outpouring of love she received, writing, “Thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes! And for all my tremendous, wild, and beautiful friends that made this week so special in so many ways. I love you!”

When she got engaged to Anthony in June 2023, Osment shared an emotional Instagram post, expressing her happiness and admiration for their relationship.
“I am deliriously happy… so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years,” she wrote at the time.
“This love is so big and so uniquely ours and I know it can do anything,” she added.
In May 2024, just months before her wedding, Osment had also spoken enthusiastically about the future, telling People, “I can't wait to be married. I wish I could just jump to that.”
