Emma Stone fans comfort star as she suffers a wardrobe malfunction while accepting Best Actress Oscar for 'Poor Things'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Emma Stone suffered an "oops moment" while accepting the Best Actress Award for 'Poor Things' at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 10.

The two-time Oscar-winning actress busted the back of her custom mint Louis Vuitton gown while swaying to Ryan Gosling's show-stopping performance of 'I’m Just Ken', as per PEOPLE Magazine.

While accepting her Oscar, Stone said, "Oh boy. My dress is broken," I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken'," before adding, "I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken.’ I’m pretty sure." 

Warning the audience that her voice is "a little gone" from yelling the "And so am I!" part, the 'Cruella' star went on, "The other night I was panicking, as you can kind of see happens a lot, that maybe something like this could happen," expressing her shock over winning the Best Actress Oscar for playing Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos' 'Poor Things'.

She walked the Oscars red carpet in her peplum-adorned mint green gown before her zipper mishap. The color choice was apparently a nod to her appearances at the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes this year, as well as the "sorbet theme" of her costumes from 'Poor Things'.

For the striking ensemble, Stone's stylist chose a 30-carat yellow diamond necklace, also from Louis Vuitton. 

After delivering her speech, the star once again warned the audience, "Don’t look at the back of my dress," as she shuffled off the stage. 

Ironically, John Cena jokingly stepped out on stage, naked, while presenting the award for 'Best Costume Design' to 'Poor Things.' The film additionally won Oscars for Best Hair and Makeup and Best Production Design.
