GILBERT, SOUTH CAROLINA: Nikki Haley's 22-year-old son, Nalin Haley, has recently found himself at the center of a firestorm. The young senior at Villanova University ignited controversy by unleashing a series of derogatory nicknames aimed at his mother's previous primary election rivals.

During a rally in Gilbert, South Carolina, Nalin Haley took the stage to introduce his mother, Nikki Haley, who is vying for the highest office in the country. Nalin seized the moment to launch scathing attacks on two notable figures: Senator Tim Scott and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.

'Judas' and 'Pennywise'

Referring to Senator Tim Scott as "Senator Judas," Nalin implied betrayal, insinuating that Scott had turned his back on his mother by endorsing former President Donald Trump. "We had a lot of them go up to New Hampshire," Nalin said, "and I saw Trump standing side by side, he was next to Senator Judas — excuse me, Senator Scott."

In a similarly acerbic fashion, Nalin compared Vivek Ramaswamy to Pennywise, the infamous clown from the horror film 'It.'

"My mom had a talk with me, and I was like, you know what? I feel awful, and I would like to take this chance to apologize to Pennywise," Nalin said during remarks in Summerville, South Carolina, referring to a previous criticism of Ramaswamy.

"Because Pennywise is a lot less creepy, a lot less of a clown, and he has a much better hairline than he [Ramaswamy] does," he added.

Nalin had previously attacked Ramaswamy last year. "Vivague Ramaslimey backpedaling more than his receding hairline," he posted on X the day after November's heated GOP presidential primary debate.

The repercussions of Nalin's verbal onslaught were felt across the political spectrum.

Tricia McLaughlin, spokeswoman for Vivek Ramaswamy, criticized Nikki Haley's apparent use of her children as "attack dogs." "Didn't Haley say to keep the kids out of it and now she's using them as attack dogs?" McLaughlin told the Daily Mail.

Despite the backlash, Nalin Haley remained undeterred, doubling down on his disparaging remarks at subsequent rallies. In Summerville, South Carolina, he not only reiterated his disdain for Senator Scott but also aimed another barb at Ramaswamy, disparaging his appearance and character with crude insults.

Nalin's behavior has not gone unnoticed by the targets of his ire. While Senator Scott refrained from directly responding to the jibe, his spokesman, Nathan Brand, condemned the disrespectful tone. “You’d never hear Ms. Frances or anyone from the Scott family talk like that,” Band said, referring to Scott’s mother, Frances Scott.

Meanwhile, Vivek Ramaswamy's camp responded with a mixture of bemusement and disdain. "In most cases of campaign banter, I give credit where credit's due, but in this case, I hope he can develop his trash-talking arsenal to include something that's mildly funny," McLaughlin told the Daily Mail.

Social media slams Nalin Haley's upbringing

However, the fallout from Nalin Haley's comments extended beyond the political arena and spilled onto social media platforms. Critics lambasted his behavior as reflective of entitlement and poor upbringing.

"An entitled brat who needs to take a good look at his own family," one posted on X.

"Rude. Must be his upbringing," another wrote.

"He's dumber than his mom," someone else quipped.

"Nice to see you are as 'no class' as your mother," a comment read.

"So Nalin has stepped into the political arena and is fair game. He better put on his big boy panties," another added.
