NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, recently slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for letting the "royal family down" and dubbed the Duchess of Sussex as an "unpopular wife".

Eric also told the Daily Mail that his father "loved the Queen" and slammed Harry for turning his back on the United Kingdom and the royal family.

The former president's son said, "Truthfully, I don't give a damn about Prince Harry, and I don't think this country does either. My father loved the Queen, and I think the monarchy is an incredibly beautiful thing."

He then praised Prince William and Kate Middleton and stated that the future king had never "made a misstep," while his wife "conducts herself so incredibly well and has been such a rock in the next generation of the family."

Eric went on to criticize Harry and said that he had let his family down by quitting the monarchy. He said, "You look at this one black sheep who doesn't exactly know where he is, led by a pretty unpopular wife, both here and over where you are."

However, Eric is confident that Harry doesn't need to worry about deportation if Donald Trump is reelected on November 5 despite allegations that the prince may have lied about his drug use when he applied for his US visa, per the outlet.

Prince Harry hangs by 'the skin of his teeth' amid US visa row

Prince Harry is "hanging by the skin of his teeth" amid his US visa row, royal commentator Phil Dampier said, according to GB News.

Harry has undergone a two-year visa battle, and a judge ruled in September that his documents would not be made public despite him admitting that he previously took drugs.

Harry's reference to taking cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms in his book 'Spare' prompted a conservative Washington DC think tank to question why he was allowed into the US in 2020, per the outlet.

The Heritage Foundation filed a 13-page motion with the court seeking to reopen the case and argued that "iron-glad guardrails" were broken and some evidence should have been reviewed in court.

The think tank believes that its ability to build a case against Harry's appeal was "severely compromised."

Dampier told The Sun, "This has been going on for about two years now. The Heritage Foundation, which is a think tank in Washington, has really got their teeth into this."

He added, "I think they feel that Prince Harry has been treated differently from other people who've applied for visas to stay in the States. Basically I think they're trying to keep this going because we've got the US Election coming up in just a couple of weeks time and of course, if Donald Trump gets back in that could be bad news for Harry and Meghan because he is very much anti-them."
