OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI: Photos of Erika Kirk and JD Vance from the recent Turning Point USA event at the University of Mississippi have gone viral across social media platforms. Charlie Kirk’s widow took her first college tour for the 'This Is the Turning Point' event following Charlie’s death on September 10.

Erika, joined by Charlie’s friend and Vice President JD Vance, wore a white T-shirt with the word “Freedom” printed on it. She paired it with black leather pants, while Vance opted for a sharp blue suit. Read on to see what the internet is saying about the pair’s appearance and body language at the event.

Although Erika Kirk made a subtle nod to her late husband, Charlie Kirk, by wearing a “Freedom” T-shirt similar to the one he wore before he was tragically shot and killed, the internet erupted with theories after photos of Erika and JD Vance from the event went viral.

One user found fault with Erika’s gestures toward JD Vance writing, "Erika Kirk with an inappropriate greeting in Mississippi - a romantic like bear hug & over the top hair grab on JD Vance. Too passionate. She has had virtually no grieving period either. Charlie’s parents will not talk to her. Something is up with her …"

Another person speculated, "Oh yes, we now have Erika Kirk and JD Vance headlining together at TPUSA. Erika looks ready for "a date." No wedding ring. Wearing same shirt Charlie was. Tight leather pants. I'm so on the money."

One person criticized Erika’s outfit noting, "Happiest widow ever! Erika is wearing the traditional skin-tight black leather mourning pants. Erika Kirk with JD Vance at Ole Miss for the kickoff of her Turning Point Tour."

A commenter declared, "That leather is extremely tight. Mourning, not."

Another person shared an unverified theory, "Vance is going to dump his Hindu wife and marry Kirk's widow to get the Christian Nationalist vote!"

Someone else wrote, "He will probably dump the Indian woman because she doesn’t fit the MAGA aesthetic. Him and the Kirk widow might get together."

Amid the online trolling, it’s worth noting JD Vance’s support for the widow, Erika. JD Vance and Usha were among her strongest sources of support after Charlie’s death, offering encouraging words and comfort.

Notably, JD Vance and Usha also accompanied Erika on Air Force Two as she returned Charlie’s casket to Arizona. Even the vice president walked alongside the flag-draped casket of his “dear friend.”

During one of Erika’s memorial services for Charlie, she described Usha as a “precious woman,” saying Usha had offered exactly the words she needed at that time. JD Vance, a close friend of Charlie, now stands beside Erika as he continues to emphasize what Charlie envisioned for America’s future.

JD Vance says he is 'lucky' to have a wonderful wife like Usha Vance

JD Vance recently gushed about his “wonderful wife,” Usha Vance, and shared his plans for their future endeavors. His comments came in response to Jen Psaki’s controversial remarks suggesting that Usha Vance is afraid of him.

Psaki also described Vance as “scarier” and questioned his potential role in a future Trump administration.

On October 23, Vance spoke to reporters on the tarmac in Tel Aviv, Israel, before departing for the United States.

When questioned about Psaki’s comments, Vance said, “Oh, I think it’s disgraceful, but of course the second lady can speak for herself.” He emphasized, “I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife, and I know — at least I hope — that my wife feels the same about me.”

He added, “We’re going to keep on serving the country together, and I’m honored to have Usha by my side on this trip in particular, but always.”
