Ethan Slater 'concerned' for GF Ariana Grande as fans raise fears over 'Wicked' star's thin appearance
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande has sparked concern among her fans over her thin appearance amid the promotional tour of her latest film 'Wicked'.
Her boyfriend and 'Wicked' co-star, Ethan Slater, is apparently equally "concerned" at the development but feels "helpless" to do anything, according to the Daily Mail.
Insiders claim people are 'scared' to bring up Ariana Grande's drastic weight loss
Insider sources speaking with the Daily Mail were in agreement about Ariana Grande needing help. While one of them claimed that she was not getting sufficient attention because everyone was focused on the movie, another insisted that people were too scared of her to bring up her weight.
A source admitted to being confused why "everybody is so focused on this movie when Ariana clearly needs help," adding that her boyfriend "Ethan is concerned for her but feels helpless."
A second tipster claimed that people are too "scared" to bring up the subject of her weight, as well as the impact that it may have on young fans.
"Ariana needs to consider the example she is setting for young girls and her fans. This is not okay. Everyone is concerned about her but no one will ever say anything because everyone is scared of her. Cynthia (Erivo) has also lost weight and no one is talking about it. It is the pink elephant in the room," shared the source.
The publication also reached out to an expert, South Carolina plastic surgeon Dr Dennis Schimpf, who pointed out that the star may be at risk of protein deficiency as a result of her vegan diet, which she reportedly adopted in 2013.
Fans concerned over Ariana Grande's 'scary thin' appearance
