'This is insane': Internet slams Netflix for editing out Kim Kardashian getting booed at Tom Brady’s roast
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian experienced embarrassment when she took the stage to deliver a "special toast" at 'The Roast of Tom Brady.’
The audience booed the socialite as she began her speech, causing her to pause for several seconds before directing her attention to the NFL legend.
Netflix has slyly edited out the negative reaction that the SKIMS owner received during the airing of the event on Sunday, May 5, as per Page Six.
How did Kim Kardashian react to getting booed?
As comedian Kevin Hart invited Kim Kardashian to join him on stage, the booing commenced as soon as she approached the podium.
That's when the 'Jumanji' star intervened, saying, "Whoa, whoa, whoa," urging the crowd to ease up.
“All right, all right, all right,” she said before delivering her part of the roast.
With the edited part now available on the streamer’s platform, Kardashian simply walks on stage, gives Hart a high five, and begins her speech with a settled crowd, devoid of any jeering.
“I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might."
“Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumors that we were and I’d never say if we did or not, I’d just release the tape,” she joked over a 2007 s*x tape with Ray J.
Later in the evening, Tom Brady poked fun at Kim Kardashian, making jokes about her ex, Kanye West.
“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of this but because her kids are at home with their dad,” the former quarterback received instant cheers from the audience for his jest.
