LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Cruise is speculated to “have had some volume restoration” on his face before appearing in the Super Bowl introduction earlier in February.

The latest speculation about the surgery came amid the online buzz regarding the ‘Mission: Impossible’ star’s face looking smooth in the Super Bowl introductory video.

While the internet is abuzz with rumors of 63-year-old Cruise getting under the knife, a double board-certified and fellowship-trained facial cosmetic surgeon conjectured that he might have done some surgeries here and there.

Tom Cruise may have had ‘fat grafting’ on his face

Cosmetic surgeon Dr Renata Khelemsky, who has not treated the actor, recently weighed on in Tom Cruise’s speculated plastic surgery. The doctor said to In Touch Weekly, “He appears to have had some volume restoration, likely through fat grafting or possibly using expertly placed dermal fillers.”

However, Dr Khelemsky opined that if Cruise has indeed done something, it is for the better, as his countenance has undergone a significant change.

"In Tom’s case, this appears to have made a significant change in the midface, cheeks and under-eye areas, restoring a fuller look,” added the surgeon, before continuing, “The results are striking because we’re seeing the contrast between his newly volumized features and older photos where volume loss was more pronounced.”

Praising the speculated pre-Super Bowl tweaks, Dr Khelemsky added, “He appears refreshed and more youthful, reflecting a strategic, staged approach to facial rejuvenation.”

Experts claim Tom Cruise's jawline has changed

Dr Gaurav Barti, a plastic surgeon at HKB Cosmetic Surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina, also weighed in on the noticeable difference in Tom Cruise's jawline.

Speaking to DailyMail, Dr Barti said, “I think the biggest thing with Tom Cruise is that he has historically aged pretty well. But the biggest thing is his jawline definition has changed, and he now looks a little fuller on the Super Bowl and a bit more stretched out... instead of that harsh definition he typically has."

He explained, “This can happen because of weight gain, or potentially due to an over-abundance of fillers in the area that stretches the skin out and adds more volume to his face.”

Dr Bill Kortesis, another surgeon from the same clinic, agreed, noting that people with athletic build often have chiseled faces.

“When people are super thin [and athletic, like Cruise] they have a chiseled appearance and a thin face. They don't have a full face,” explained Dr Kortesis.
