LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift and Jay-Z celebrating Beyonce winning Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammy's has become one of the most notable moments of the Sunday, February 2 event at Cryptoo.com Arena in LA.

Queen Bee, who holds the record for winning the most number of Grammys over the years, finally won the AOTY for 'Cowboy Carter'. It led to fellow nominee Taylor Swift, and Beyonce's husband and rapper Jay-Z sharing a smile and a toast, which was captured on camera and went viral across social media platforms.

Beyonce and Swift have publicly supported each other since Video Music Awards 2009 when the latter was interrupted by Kanye West during her Best Female Video award acceptance speech. When Beyonce later won the award for Video of the Year, she invited Taylor “to come out and have her moment.”

Body Language expert explains Taylor Swift's toast with Jay-Z

The viral gesture made by Swift at the 2025 Grammys was decoded for Women's Health magazine by body language expert Patti Wood, who claimed that the pop star was excited and wanted people to celebrate Beyonce's win with her.

“Her head is sideways and her chin is jutted out in a way that suggests she wants to say, ‘Come on!’” noted Woods, adding that the singer's elbow is seen "unusually high" in a manner that suggests "I'm celebrating you."

On the other hand, Jay-Z's smile was more shy yet "interpersonal," shared Woods, adding, "His hold on the glass is unusual—it’s much more tentative."

The rapper had his elbow and arm close to his side, which suggests him feeling somewhat timid over the attention. "It’s not lifted up to say, ‘You’re darn right,’ it’s more like, ‘Aw, thank you. I feel it.'"
