LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A YouTube video released on April 24, 2024, claimed singer Justin Bieber filed a lawsuit against television host Ellen DeGeneres.

The channel 'Shocked,' which has over 36K subscribers, spewed the rumor, without any evidence, that the 30-year-old sued DeGeneres for allegedly "misusing him when he was a minor."

The video titled, 'Ellen DeGeneres BREAKS DOWN After Justin Bieber SUED Her For Misusing Him When He Was A Minor' garnered 190K views and 2.7K likes at the time of writing.

The YouTube video gained traction five months after it was released in light of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' arrest last month.

"It seems like Diddy's downfall is about to bring down some big names in Hollywood! This is like watching a real-life game of dominoes, with each revelation toppling another big shot," the video description read.

It further claimed that everyone who has partnered with the disgraced rap mogul was brought into the spotlight, and now Bieber was preparing to take legal action against the talk show host over her conduct towards him as a minor.

A similar allegation was made in another YouTube video released in May 2024 that has over 24K views.

These claims resurfaced alongside unverified rumors that Bieber might have faced mistreatment as a minor from Diddy while he was mentoring the singer.

Justin Bieber did not sue Ellen DeGeneres for allegedly mistreating him as minor

A fact check by Snopes debunked the YouTube video and confirmed the claims were false. Therefore, the Canadian singer has not sued DeGeneres over his mistreating conduct towards him as a minor.

The website notes the absence of legal and other evidence to support the rumor that Bieber has filed or was preparing to file a lawsuit against the TV personality.

The 'Baby' singer has appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' 37 times. Therefore, if there was any truth to the claims in the video, prominent media outlets would not have remained silent and would have interviewed the accused and the accuser in no time. In addition, the absence of any court documents proves it was a fabricated rumor to gain attention online.

The YouTube channel's bio, "Your Ultimate Destination for Celebrity Gossip!" also throws light on the content, implying it was created to get more views on the platform.

Despite multiple clips from Bieber's appearance on DeGeneres' show and his interactions with Diddy, the nearly half-hour video contains no credible evidence to prove the singer sued the Emmy-winning talk show host.
