LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A Facebook post about rapper Bad Bunny and Detroit singer Kid Rock went viral on Saturday, October 4.

The post claimed that Kid Rock referred to the Puerto Rican artist as “a man in a dress” and criticized the NFL’s decision to choose him for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, according to Lead Stories.

The post, shared four days ago, gained over 39,000 views and spread rapidly across social media, drawing reactions from thousands of users.

Viral Facebook post claimed Kid Rock criticized Bad Bunny for Super Bowl

The claim came from a Facebook account named @DavidJHarrisJr under the caption “DAYUM!”. It read, “Kid Rock didn’t hold back, declaring: ‘You bring a man in a dress to the Super Bowl? Then don’t call it football, call it a circus.’”

The post further alleged that Rock saw the Super Bowl stage as a “symbol of strength and American spirit” and would “walk away as an NFL fan” if Bad Bunny performed.

The image attached to the post showed Kid Rock flipping his middle finger beside Bad Bunny, who appeared in a white coat and skirt, in a merged collage.

Fact Check: The claim that Kid Rock criticized Bad Bunny is false

There is no record of Kid Rock ever making such remarks about Bad Bunny. His verified Facebook page shows only two recent posts — one sharing a “Ticketing update” video and another from a hunting trip captioned, “Thanks to Huntnest and Outfit ECO for a monumental Antelope hunt! Also to my new Polish friends @ https://limon-safari-inn.com! Rock on Eastern Colorado!"

Since September 28, when the NFL announced Bad Bunny as the 2026 Super Bowl performer, Kid Rock has not commented on the rapper. His YouTube channel has been inactive since May 23, 2025.

His X (formerly Twitter) account posts about ticketing issues, his Detroit steakhouse, Michigan politics, and support for Vice President JD Vance. None of his posts mention the NFL, Bad Bunny, or any comments on attire.

On Instagram, Kid Rock recent posts also have no reference to the Super Bowl or Bad Bunny, featuring only a short clip about his songs.

The Facebook post is one of several that have used Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl announcement to spread fake outrage. Though fabricated, it quickly went viral, underscoring how misinformation continues to gain traction online.
