Claim: Trump fell again
A viral video shows Trump appearing to stumble near a vehicle while security personnel assist him. The clip includes a news banner reading, “Trump falls again! White House doctor breaks silence.”
The video also appears to reference Trump’s past criticism of former President Joe Biden over his physical movements and public appearances.
The clip was posted on August 30 and quickly gained more than 1 million views, 6K likes, and 2,700 replies. Many users used the video to mock Trump or criticize him amid continued political tensions during his second term.
The video gained attention as social media users continued to discuss Trump’s health and physical appearance.
Fact Check: False, video does not show Trump falling
The claim is false. The “breaking news” banner in the viral clip is fabricated, and the video does not show Trump falling. Independent fact-checkers found that the circulating footage was created using artificial intelligence.
The original, unedited footage shows Trump walking toward and entering his vehicle without collapsing or needing assistance.
An X user also addressed the misleading clip, writing, “Social media posts shared a manipulated clip in July 2026 showing Trump appearing to buckle and fall near his vehicle. Fact-checkers and digital experts confirmed the footage was fabricated. Authentic footage shows him entering his vehicle without collapsing.”
The latest rumor follows another false video that circulated last month and appeared to show Trump collapsing near his limousine.
Reports traced that video to its original TikTok post and found that it used real footage recorded on July 1, when Trump left the White House for North Dakota to attend an event marking the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.
Fox News originally shared the footage, which shows Trump walking slowly before entering his vehicle. He does not fall or require assistance. Fact-checkers also found visual glitches in the altered clip. In one frame, a Secret Service agent’s body appears to merge unnaturally with the nearby vehicle. Hive Moderation’s AI detection system also determined that the video was likely AI-generated.
The latest manipulated video gained traction after X users shared it to mock Trump’s alleged fall. One user wrote, “Heavy Diapers blamed for Trump fall. They also provide cushioning that saved his ass.” Another user wrote, “@realDonaldTrump just farted and made himself fall - again.”
