WASHINGTON, DC: In one of the recently released emails of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, his brother Mark Epstein wrote in 2018, "Ask him if Putin has the photos of Trump blowing Bubba?" with "him" referring to Steve Bannon, who was briefly Donald Trump's White House chief strategist during his first presidential term.

Interestingly, "Bubba" was also the nickname given to former President Bill Clinton, and people on the internet thought that Mark was referring to him in the email.

Following this, a video circulated online showing Trump and Clinton together, where the current POTUS was seen making a rude gesture at the former president. But is the video real? Let us find out below.

Claim: Trump was seen making a rude gesture at Clinton

On November 14, an X (formerly Twitter) user @NORCAL_icmag posted a six-second clip of Donald Trump and Bill Clinton together in a frame and captioned the post, "BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL."

The video showed Trump making a rude gesture at Clinton while both were seen laughing.

The viral clip garnered wide attention online and has so far received more than 16 million views and over 15,000 X users have reshared.

Despite the clip seeming to be real, the truth is far from what it seems.

Fact Check: Viral clip of Trump and Clinton is AI-generated

The viral clip of Donald Trump and Bill Clinton that has been making the rounds on the internet is not real and has been generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

The first frame of the six-second clip is a real picture of the POTUS and the former president at a golf tournament in 2000 that was released by the Clinton Presidential Library in 2016.

However, the rest of the video was generated by an AI tool, which is indicated by changes in background details compared to authenticated images of the same scene, Lead Stories reported

Moreover, indications that the clip was AI-generated include the disappearance of a woman who is seen in the background between Trump and Clinton in the first frame.

As the video started, the woman suddenly disappeared and was not in the background past the three-second mark.

Another sign of the video being AI-generated is the change in the furniture in the background. The chair changes its design from the first frame.

Old Trump-Clinton pic resurfaces amid 'blowing Bubba' buzz

An old picture of Donald Trump and former Bill Clinton has gone viral amid a row over the "Trump blowing Bubba" email. The viral email, from Mark Epstein, caused outrage online since "Bubba" is Clinton's nickname.

As the email went viral online, it even sparked a viral "Donica Lewinsky" phrase that is being used online.

The resurfaced photo of Trump and Clinton was released by the Clinton Presidential Library in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by Politico.

Meanwhile, The Atlantic carried it in 2016 with the headline "Bill and Donald Make a Racquet With Old Picture."

Another photo from the same event showed Trump, Clinton, Melania, and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kylie Bax, as identified by Politico.
