BOGOTA, COLOMBIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a vibrant start to their Colombia tour, and the couple enjoyed a lively tribal dance at the Delia Zapata National Centre for the Arts in Bogota.

The Duchess of Sussex exuded grace and poise with an impeccable posture. Meanwhile, the Duke seemed more relaxed, lounging slightly in his chair, fully absorbing the colorful performance.

At one point, Prince Harry even rested his arm on the back of their translator's chair —a move that sparked plenty of speculation among royal fans, as per Daily Mail

Distracted, he glanced behind him and gestured to someone off-camera, while Meghan and the translator remained engrossed in the 'Kiss of the Hummingbird' performance.

Eventually, a woman approached Harry, who exchanged a quiet word with her before refocusing on the show.

After the clip hit the internet, fans couldn't resist poking fun at Harry, imagining him risking a playful reprimand from Meghan on his other side.

While his casual gesture might have made waves, Meghan stayed composed and immersed through the event.

Engaged in conversation with Vice President Francia Marquez, she pointed out vibrant costumes and warmly shook hands with the dancers after the performance.

Meghan Markle dazzles in stylish and practical outfits in Colombia

In her second tour look, Meghan Markle dazzled in a colorful Johanna Ortiz maxi dress, reflecting her Colombian heritage. The $2,150 burgundy Navajo Weaver Metallic Tweed Maxi Dress, with its thigh-high slit and chic cut-out, was a striking contrast to her earlier look.

Her hair, styled in loose waves, complemented the dress perfectly, though it echoed a similar style from her previous tour in Africa, where she wore a comparable Johanna Ortiz creation.

She paired the outfit with her signature jewelry, including the $12,800 Cartier "Juste un Clou" necklace, adding a touch of elegance and a nod to the host country with this Colombian-made dress.

Practical yet chic, Meghan's outfit was both stylish and climate-appropriate, featuring removable ruffle sleeves for versatility and a design perfect for the warm weather.

As she watched the performance with Prince Harry, their affection was evident as they held hands and shared smiles.

Kicking off their four-day tour, she stepped out in a sophisticated $776 (£596) collared vest from New York-based Veronica Beard.

Her sleeveless, buttoned vest was paired with matching navy ankle-grazing trousers, priced at $454.91 (£349.33), creating a polished and elegant look.

She completed the ensemble with black Manolo Blahnik heels and a cream $4,700 (£3,609) Loro Piana handbag, adding a touch of luxury.

In Bogota, the Sussexes were warmly welcomed by Colombia's Vice President Francia Marquez and her husband, Rafael Yerney Pinillo.

Their visit included exchanging gifts, enjoying tea and coffee, and sampling traditional pandebono (Colombian cheese bread).

Throughout their stay, the couple was accompanied by a full security detail and embraced what’s been called a "quasi-royal tour."

Royals fans comment on Prince Harry's gesture toward interpreter

The Internet has been abuzz over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Colombia tour, with many highlighting the Duke of Sussex's move of resting his hand on the back of their interpreter's chair while enjoying the tribal dance show.

One netizen joked, "I noticed in a few clips that Harry and the interpreter were getting on well. The hand on the back of the chair reminded me of dates in my youth when a guy tried to build up to putting his arm around me, he would yawn and stretch his arms out and then drop it on the back of my seat. It’s an odd move especially when Megan is sitting beside him."

"As a former prince I'm sure he's had plenty of etiquette classes to know that this is not on. There seems to be trouble in the marriage and he likes it to be known. The interpreter just happened to be there at the right time at the right place," remarked a person.

An individual observed, "Difference here, she is constantly performing for the camera, a throwback to her previous job. Henry has had cameras shoved into his face for as long as he can remember, so they become invisible."

"Every body looked so uncomfortable. Such a forced, artificial and staged gathering. Like those extended family gatherings, when you see relatives that you have only met once, but now are supposed to have an intimate relationship. For me as an introvert this is the stuff that nightmares are made of. Incredible to see that H&M aren’t even aware that they’re a joke to the world," said one more.

Another person wrote, "I’m old and married and not a bit insecure or jealous- but this is a bad look. You don’t put your arm around the back of another woman’s chair. Especially when you know there are cameras capturing your every move."

"I thought it was pretty obvious they weren't interested in the dancers as they kept looking around and chatting to people. They were not focused on the entertainment laid on for them. The Queen was always totally focused on the spectacle, even if it was the most boring thing on earth. It just goes to show Meghan and Harry have little in the way of social skills and no manners," shared one more netizen.
