‘This is healthy’: Fans defend Rihanna as she is seen holding her child Rza upside down at birthday party

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Pop sensation Rihanna was seen holding her son RZA by his feet at his second birthday party.

A video of Rihanna at her son's birthday party has gone viral and Internet is not keeping calm while talking about it.

The 'Disturbia' hitmaker is mother to two boys. RZA, who recently turned two, and nine-month-old Riot Rose.

To mark RZA's second birthday on May 13 his parents, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, hosted a private party for him on Saturday at Color Factory in New York.

The child's cutout photographs and several cute pillows with his face were present at the pink-themed celebration.

In one video, the mother of two was seen holding her oldest son by the ankles while posing for pictures with A$AP, Riot Rose, and RZA. Then she laughed and swung him from side to side.

Although it seems like RZA was having a blast, some have questioned how the singer was handling her two-year-old since the video went viral.

Fans defend Rihanna for holding her child upside down 

Although there were many people who slammed Rihanna for holding child upside down, her fans came to the singer's rescue. A fan wrote on YouTube, "Queen rihanna is the best mom."

Another said, "Its a tradition in the Caribbean...everyone of us had been flipped several times, it's fun and healthy...it is even a medical maneuver for treating convulsion in children in clinical practice and also apply to Trendelenburg position used to treat hypotension."

One person said, "What a beautiful family. I love seeing black couples in love and raising there family. Asap Rocky is the perfect partner for Rihanna as he doesn't attempt to dim her light. He allows her to shine and is very supporting of her. Rihanna."

Another added, "Man that's a parent having fun with her kid. When I was a Lil boy I used to beg my pops to turn me upside down. I thought they was saying. She pulled a michael jackson or something. Lol. That was totally harmless. That kid was having the time of his life."

Some social media users even bashed the singer as one individual wrote, "What the hell is wrong with her."

Another added, "Doing this with baby can make him fall sick."
