Longstanding feud between 50 Cent and Irv Gotti
The feud between 50 Cent and Irv Gotti began in 1999 when an associate of 50 Cent allegedly robbed Ja Rule, a top artist at Gotti's Murder Inc, as per OK! Magazine.
At the time, 50 Cent was rising in the rap scene and later released the diss track 'Your Life's on the Line,' targeting Ja Rule and Gotti's label.

Later that year, 50 Cent was shot outside his grandmother's home.
A federal investigation revealed that Queens drug lord Kenneth 'Supreme' McGriff and members of Murder Inc plotted to kill the rapper after he referenced McGriff, a close friend of Gotti, in a diss song.
