Fans hail Beyonce as ‘GOAT’ after her album ‘Cowboy Carter’ soars to the top of Billboard 200 chart
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Beyonce, also known as Queen Bee, added another feather to her cap as her brand new album 'Cowboy Carter' soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart. This latest feat achieved by Beyonce was celebrated and lauded by her fans on social media.
It's not just the fans Beyonce is earning praise from, previously Beatles legend Paul McCartney has also expressed his support for the 'Single Ladies' singer's rendition of the iconic band's 'Blackbird' which is featured on her album.
Beyonce's full-blown country album also featured the cover of Dolly Parton's 'JOLENE' which earned appreciation from the legendary singer Parton as well. Parton has previously showcased excitement for Beyonce's album amid all the criticism the 'Halo' singer was subjected to.

Beyonce achieves eighth no. 1 with 'Cowboy Carter'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beyonce's latest venture into country music has hit the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album, named 'Cowboy Carter', made its debut on March 29 and quickly climbed to No. 1, raking up an impressive 407,000 equivalent album units in the US by the week ending April 4.
This is Beyonce's eighth time claiming the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200. 'Cowboy Carter' also boasts of being the biggest album debut of 2024 so far, surpassing even Taylor Swift's '1989 (Taylor’s Version)' which had a whopping 1.653 million units in its debut week back in November.

As per the Hollywood Reporter, Beyonce's last major win was with 'Lemonade' in May 2016, which also debuted at No. 1 with 653,000 units. 'Cowboy Carter' isn't just a hit on the Billboard 200, it is also dominating the Top Country Albums, Americana/Folk Albums, and Top Album Sales charts.
In fact, 'Cowboy Carter' has set the record for the biggest week for a country album since July 2023 when Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)' debuted with 716,000 units.
Billboard reports that apart from Beyonce's album reaching number one, back in February, her single 'Texas Hold ‘Em' made history by hitting number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, making her the first Black woman to achieve such a milestone.
Fans assert Beyonce 'runs' music industry
Beyonce's fans could not contain their excitement over the singer's latest feat.
