FLORIDA, MIAMI: Angel Carter Conrad is grieving the death of her big sister, Bobbie Jean Carter, who died at the age of 41.

The sister of Nick and Aaron Carter, who also appeared on the reality show 'House of Carters', penned a touching tribute to Bobbie Jean who died on Saturday, December 23, in Florida.

Her death comes just over a year after Angel Carter mourned the loss of her younger brother, Aaron Carter, and more than a decade after the death of her sister, Leslie Carter.

Aaron tragically died on November 5, 2022, at 34. His death was attributed to drowning, following the inhalation of difluoroethane and consumption of alprazolam, the generic form of Xanax.

Leslie Carter had reportedly died a decade earlier in 2012, at the age of 25, due to a lethal mix of prescription medications.

Aaron's team shared with DailyMail that the past year has been one of "such loss and tragedy" for the family. They added, "We know Aaron is in heaven with his sisters and reunited."

Angel Carter paid a touching homage to her beloved elder sister Jean.

"To my older sister Bobbie. You had a great sense of humor, and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend," wrote the devastated 36-year-old on Christmas Eve.

She continued, "Life wasn't fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn't have a shot, no matter what. Experiencing innocence instead of being burdened by trauma, pain, and suffering is incredibly important for children, particularly at such a young age."

"I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did. I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I'm sorry you didn't have an opportunity for a better life," she added.

Angel is the mother of four-year-old Harper from her nine-year-long marriage to Corey Conrad.

She urged her 74K Instagram followers to check out the website of On Our Sleeves, a non-profit organization dedicated to children's mental health.

"We all need to break down barriers, reduce stigmas, and cultivate a society where seeking mental health support is met with understanding and encouragement. This starts with our children, and creating healthy conversation within the home," she wrote.

The grieving sister ended the post saying, "I love you BJ, you’re free now. 💔🕊️"
