Fans speculate Blake Lively's 'It Ends With Us' co-star Brandon Sklenar is now on Justin Baldoni's side

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's ‘It Ends With Us’ co-star, Brandon Sklenar, seems to have changed sides amid the duo's ongoing legal battle.

The 34-year-old actor attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills on Sunday, March 2, wearing a floral brooch, which appeared to be quite similar to Baldoni's that he donned at the August 6 world premiere of ‘It Ends With Us’ in New York City, as per the Daily Mail.

It was the same event where the ‘Jane the Virgin’ actor was reportedly confined to the basement of AMC Lincoln Square Theater so that he and Lively couldn't come face to face.

Brandon Sklenar took to Instagram on Monday, March 4, to share his photo from the Sunday ceremony with the caption, "Vanity Fair X long live the ( brooch ) 👗@madeleinekennedy 💅@shawnesssss Thank you @thom__sweeney @davidyurman."

Soon, people in the comment section began to speculate that he supports Baldoni, pointing out the brooch he wore to the party.

One Instagram follower asked, "Isn’t this the same broach as JB at premier? Is this a stand in solidarity?" while another questioned, "In solidarity of the bro?"

"Man up and tell the truth 🤡," a person stated, while someone else speculated, "A good man would support as he did without being messy. Now that more info has come to light he has taken a much more neutral stance. He was in a no win situation. I think he's trying to navigate this mess carefully and I'm hoping the brooch is a sign of solidarity."

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Brandon Sklenar called the legal fight between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni "a tough situation."

"I just hope everyone remembers what the movie is about and why we made it in the first place. It's about love. It's about supporting women in general and helping people through tough times," he added.

However, a few months back, the 'Drop' actor was clearer on his stance, as he shared a link to the New York Times article about Lively's allegations against Baldoni on Instagram Stories with a heart emoji and mentioned, "For the love of God read this."
