Fans tell Grimes she's 'shadowbanned' by Elon Musk after she called him out on X for ignoring their child

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Grimes, the 36-year-old singer, and ex-partner of Elon Musk, has accused the billionaire of neglecting their child's medical needs, leading fans to believe she may have been “shadowbanned” on X (formerly Twitter) following her public outcry.

In a now-deleted tweet, Grimes made a direct plea to Musk, demanding he respond to the urgent medical needs of their child.

Grimes wrote: "Plz respond about our child's medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention. If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon."

Grimes added: "I'm not giving any details but he won't respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn't respond asap, so I need him to f***ing respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that's where we are at."

Neither tweet is visible on the social media platform now, but another user who shared a screenshot of one of Grimes's posts implied that it seemed like she had been "shadowbanned."

Grimes and Musk, who split in 2022 after a four-year relationship, share three children: X Æ A-Xii, four, Techno Mechanicus, two, and Exa Dark Sideræl, three.

Her accusations have added fuel to ongoing discussions surrounding her strained relationship with Musk, who is known for his controversial presence on social media. This isn’t the first time Grimes has called out Musk on matters relating to their children.

After Grimes' explosive claims, many fans started noticing that her tweets weren't showing up as usual in their feeds, sparking accusations of her account being “shadowbanned” on X. “Shadowbanning” is when a social media platform restricts a user’s visibility without their knowledge.

A user shared Grimes' post's screenshot and slammed Musk, "The deadbeat loser manually hid the tweet and shadowbanned grimes entirely btw …"

Another added, "It looks like Elon has manually hidden Grimes’ posts. I can’t even see them on her profile. But only the ones about Elon abandoning their kid. Pathetic, pathetic man."

One commentator stated, "Elon has completely shadowbanned Grimes," and shared a screenshot of search results that did not display Grimes' account.

"The free speech app is shadow banning @Grimezsz for exercising her free speech," said one.

Another person said, "Elon is apparently also shadowbanning @Grimezsz for speaking out."

However, Grimes herself later confirmed she deleted the tweets for a reason. She wrote replying to one X user, “I am deleting them now because if they're being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids.”
