Grimes begs Elon Musk on X to respond to their child's medical crisis, Internet dubs him a 'horrible' dad

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Grimes aka Claire Elise Boucher, has urgently reached out to Elon Musk on social media, revealing a "medical crisis" involving their child amid their ongoing custody battle. The message comes as Musk made headlines for wielding a chainsaw onstage at CPAC with Argentine leader Javier Milei.
The couple shares three children–four-year-old X Æ A-12, three-year-old Exa Dark Sideræl, and two-year-old Techno Mechanicus–and Grimes expressed frustration over Musk’s lack of communication. She warned that if the situation isn't addressed immediately, it could cause lifelong harm to their children.

Grimes requests Elon Musk to respond to their child's 'medical crisis'
While Elon Musk attended the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday with Argentine Prime Minister Javier Milei, Grimes shared a now-deleted public message pleading for him to respond about their child's medical crisis.
In her post, Grimes wrote, “Plz respond about our child's medical crisis. I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”
She added, “If you don't want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.”
The post quickly sparked online attention, with many expressing sympathy for Grimes, while others questioned why she took the matter public, fearing it could cause lasting damage.

Grimes further explained, “I'm not giving any details but he won't respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn't respond asap, so I need him to f***ing respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that's where we are at.”
Musk has yet to publicly respond to Grimes’ plea, despite posting multiple times on X since her request for help. The debate continued online even after Grimes deleted her post, with a follower claiming her original tweet had been "shadowbanned" by X. Grimes simply responded, “lol.”

Internet suggests Grimes take Elon Musk to court over lack of response to child's medical crisis
Despite Grimes deleting her panicked texts from X, internet users quickly captured and shared the post. It has since gone viral on X, with countless people sharing screenshots and offering their thoughts on Grimes' situation, as she received no response from Elon Musk.
One user dubbed, "Horrible father = horrible person."
Another user suggested, "Take him to court!!"
An X user slammed, "Elon Musk is apparently dodging Grimes' calls during a medical emergency of one of their kids. He's such trash."

One comment read, "Why don’t they contact lawyers? Trying to contact him on a public forum isn’t the answer. Get a lawyer. Bring him to court. Sue for paternity support. If he’s going to be absent then make him pay support and go find a new man."

Elon Musk and Grimes' custody battle
Grimes’ texts to Elon Musk about their child's medical crisis came after she publicly criticized him for bringing their son, X, into the public spotlight during an Oval Office press conference with Donald Trump.
Following the birth of their third child, Grimes filed a lawsuit in September 2023 in California, seeking parental rights over their children. According to Daily Mail, Musk allegedly tried to keep the hearing private, requesting that the documents be sealed.
In November 2024, Grimes disclosed that she had been involved in a year-long custody battle with Musk, during which she reportedly went five months without seeing one of her children.
In response, Musk filed for custody of the children in Texas, where his businesses are based. Grimes then filed a counter-suit in California, seeking to establish a parental relationship. She also accused Musk of denying her access to the children and preventing them from seeing their terminally ill maternal grandmother.
A Travis County Clerk confirmed that the Texas dispute had been settled but declined to provide any further details.
Grimes revealed that the lengthy legal battle nearly left her "bankrupt" and hindered her ability to create new music.
