Observers, including fellow adult model Patrycia "Paty K" Kratiuk, attest that Courtney's violent tirades escalated significantly when she was under the influence of drugs, apparently provided by Obumseli himself.

Courtney is said to have killed her cryptocurrency trader boyfriend during a dispute in their Miami high-rise in April 2022, following suspicions of his flirtations during a trip to Aspen.
