LONDON, ENGLAND: The Taylor Swift-Dave Grohl dispute has taken an unexpected turn after it was revealed that guitarist Pat Smear of Foo Fighters was spotted at one of Swift's Era Tour shows.

Pat Smear attended Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, June 23, one day after bandmate Dave Grohl undercut the pop sensation at their own show in the UK city.

Following the Foo Fighters performance on Saturday, June 22, during which Grohl implied that Swift doesn't perform live, Smear, 64 (born Georg Albert Ruthenberg), was observed attending Swift's performance on Sunday, per Daily Mail.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl shaded Taylor Swift implying she doesn't perform live

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl earlier criticized Swift's Eras Tour while she performed live in London, saying the band refers to their tours as the "errors tour."

While performing at London Stadium on Saturday, Grohl referred to Swift — who was playing at Wembley on the opposite side of the city that same night — to jeers from some of the audience.

"I'm telling you man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift," Grohl addressed the crowd.

He added: "So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple. That's because we actually play live."

"Just saying. You guys like raw live rock 'n' roll music right? You came to the right f***ing place!" Grohl stated before the band resumed their performance.

However, at her sold-out Wembley gig on Sunday, Swift clapped back at Grohl's suggestion that she didn't perform live. The pop queen took the opportunity to introduce her band, who were performing "live" for the whole of the three and a half hour setlist.

"What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every very single one of our crew. The band that's going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight," Swift told the audience.

She added, "They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We'll never forget it."

Netizens refer to Pat Smear attending Taylor Swift's tour as 'delicious irony'

Social media users took to X to make light of the moment that Smear attended Swift's iconic Eras Tours amid the Dave Grohl controversy.

One X user wrote, "The delicious irony here is that Pat Smear from the aforementioned band did go to a Taylor Swift show just the other day."

Another wrote, "Even TRAVIS KELCE looks starstruck by Pat. I don’t blame him. He is an absolute legend, after all."

"There’s no “bad blood” between Foo Fighters’ Pat Smear and Taylor Swift! He, actress Salma Hayek, and Paul McCarntey’s daughter Stella McCartney attended Swift’s show in London on Friday," wrote one X account, followed by the image taken by Hayek.

One user quipped, "Here’s Pat Smear from @foofighters on his night off in London hanging out with @salmahayek & @StellaMcCartney in the VIP tent at one of Taylor Swift’s shows, so maybe Dave Grohl just had a little FOMO".

"Pat Smear didn’t mind a bit of Taylor Swift at Wembley on Friday night, don’t tell Dave!" exclaimed another.
