Taylor Swift fires back at Dave Grohl after his snarky comment that she didn't play live during Eras Tour

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl made headlines after claiming that Taylor Swift's Eras Tour wasn't performed live. Swifties have been thoroughly enjoying the tour, especially after her boyfriend Travis Kelce joined her onstage for the first time and helped her prepare for the next performance. 

Amid the enthusiastic tour, the 55-year-old musician took a dig at Swift, alleging she didn't play live. However, Swift fired back at Grohl saying her band played for 3.5 hours.

The queen of pop emphasized that her band was playing 'live' for the entire three-and-a-half-hour set, as per DailyMail.

Swift told her audience, "What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every very single one of our crew. The band that's going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight." 

She added, "They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We'll never forget it."

Grohl criticized Swift's Eras Tour, suggesting she doesn't sing live, while on stage in London. He took a jab at Swift, calling her sold-out tour the "errors" tour and joking that his band "actually plays live."

While performing at the London Stadium, he mentioned Swift, who was playing the same night across the city at Wembley, to some boos from his fans. 

He addressed the crowd, "We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she's on her 'errors' tour. I tell you man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple."

The band leader clarified, "That's because we actually play live. What?" He continued, "Just saying. You guys like raw live rock 'n' roll music right?'You came to the right f***ing place!"

After hearing about the heated exchange between music icon Taylor Swift and musician Dave Grohl, many internet users flocked to the comment section, as per DailyMail. One said, “Dave is about to find out he’s not as big, popular or untouchable as he thinks he is.”

Another user slammed, “Dave I used to like you until I read your book. Name dropping ect. No need to Diss a fellow performer, stay in your lane.”

One user claimed, “Was so strange of him to take a shot at her as it’s not as if they’re in direct competition with each other. No swifties want to show up to see the Foo Fighters and vice versa. You’d think with his many years as a musician that he’d champion a young woman who writes and plays on her own songs, it’s not simply manufactured pop like Sabrina Carpenter.”

One user asserted, “He is probably just as fed up of hearing about this woman as the rest of us.”
