NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: A clip of Mike Tyson and Sean 'Diddy' Combs on 'The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show' in 1998 recently resurfaced over the social media platform X, following the rapper's September arrest over charges of racketeering and trafficking.

Fans have commented on the apparently awkward interaction between the two as seen in the clip, with Tyson turning and shifting away from Diddy at one point.

The clip has been viewed over 19.6 million times till Monday, November 18, and has netizens divided over what Tyson's action really meant.

The clip shows Mike Tyson and Diddy seated together on a couch and having a fun conversation with host Keenen Ivory Wayans. According to The Mirror US, Diddy was recalling one of his gigs in New York where he had fallen over.

"So I was performing and trying to give it my all, I was busting my... I'm talking about when you fall flat on your back, but I tried to play it off. You know when you fall but you act like no one has seen you. You just keep on rocking. I was embarrassed for like weeks," he reportedly shared.

At that point, as seen in the clip, Tyson jokingly quipped, "It truly is all about the Benjamins," referencing a Diddy song on making money. He simultaneously picked up the rapper's hand that was near his legs to show off the ring on his finger, as well as angled his body away from the rapper while turning towards him.

Netizens have found the clip awkward since it resurfaced in September, but many pointed out that Mike Tyson simply wanted to show Diddy's ring. The following tweets demonstrate the predominant takes.
