Former 'GMA' host TJ Holmes moves to rented NYC apartment despite mostly staying at GF Amy Robach's place
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: TJ Holmes has relocated to a modest rented apartment in New York City, according to an exclusive report by The U.S. Sun.
The 46-year-old former host of 'Good Morning America' made the move while mostly living with his girlfriend and co-worker, Amy Robach, 50, and his living arrangements have not changed much since.
When did TJ Holmes rent the NYC apartment?
According to the publication, Holmes moved into the apartment in May 2023. The rent was listed at $7,000 a month as per the property records.
The home features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a separate dining room and an in-unit washer-dryer.
However, an insider source revealed to The Sun that Holmes does not spend much time at the apartment, and instead usually chooses to stay at the more lavish place of Robach, which is a quick 15-minute walk away.
How is the NYC apartment of Amy Robach?
The $4 million pad in which Robach moved into sometime last year comes with 3 bedrooms and a patio, as well as a second private outdoor space, revealed The Sun.

Two separate units were combined to create the apartment, which finally spanned 1,900 square feet with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. It now has custom cabinets, teak flooring, and a large double-door coat closet for guests.
The bedroom of the star has a walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom, with a double vanity, marble countertops, and a separate shower stall, while the Kitchen displays top-of-the-line Bosch appliances and the dining room is complete with fine built-in leather seating.
As per the publication's report, Robach seemed to be renting her apartment as well.
Staying together has taken a toll on the couple
In a recent episode of the podcast 'Amy & TJ', the duo opened up about hitting a rough patch in their relationship after almost a year and a half of openly being together.
"We're spending hours and hours side by side, working on things. We work differently, we've discovered, when it comes to brainstorming, coming up with ideas, thinking about guests, thinking about content," said Amy.
"I like to talk it out and brainstorm and throw things out and up, and you like to quietly do your thing by yourself. And so what we've ended up doing is sitting in silence for hours next to each other, and it's exhausting," she added.
She confessed to being "not great at that," as she continued, "So when I'm sitting next to somebody, who I know we're both working hard, but I feel is completely emotionally removed from our relationship."
"So it's the struggle of, yes, we've always worked together and gotten along, but this is a different kind of working together. The last few days, I've felt disconnected to you," she added, mentioning later that not talking is what scares her about the relationship.
