Former 'Late Night' host Amber Ruffin comes out as LGBTQ member on last day of Pride Month

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Pride Month nears its end, some celebrities continue to celebrate, including a former late-night host who came out just before July begins!

Amber Ruffin, a writer for 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' who also hosted her own show 'The Amber Ruffin Show' on Peacock, shared her LGBTQ community membership in an Instagram post on Sunday, June 30.

After her announcement, numerous celebrities extended their support and showered wishes.

In a celebratory moment, comedian Ruffin publicly identified herself as a member of the LGBTQ community on Sunday via Instagram.

She posted a selfie wearing a shirt emblazoned with "QUEER" and shared photos with her partner from recent Pride events, as per Deadline.

Accompanying a picture of herself in a tank top displaying "Queer," she wrote, "In what will come as a shock to exactly zero people, Iโ€™m using the last day of PRIDE to come out! Be proud of who you are, little babies! I know I am!
