WASHINGTON, DC: Left-leaning radio host Leslie Marshall took a swipe at Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene for cussing out a reporter during a phone interview.

The Congresswoman posted a clip on X last week with the caption, "I just ripped a reporter for his attempt to smear me, lie about me, and push a fake narrative that I don’t support President Trump."

Fox News' 'Media Buzz' host Howard Kurtz during Sunday, June 29 show wondered if Greene seemed "a little defensive" in the viral clip she posted on X of her cussing out a reporter.

Meanwhile, Marshall chimed in and said, "Sorry, a little? You know, I mean, between our president and this one and everybody just dropping f-bombs even on national television, I gotta tell you, Howie, it’s really hard to keep people, especially kids, in check when our leaders can’t be."

Marshall told Kurtz that "we need to get back to decency, decorum, respect", especially at a time when the nation’s leaders, to quote the president, "don’t know what the f*** they’re doing", according to Daily Beast.

Interestingly, Greene was critical of President Donald Trump's decision to involve the United States in "another foreign war" as the US attacked Iran and destroyed its major nuclear sites.

During the phone interview, the reporter asked Greene, "For a long time, you’ve been Trump’s most outspoken ally in Congress. It feels like over the past couple weeks you’ve shown a willingness to break with him, and I’m wondering just what’s behind that?"

"I have always been President Trump’s most outspoken ally," the Congresswoman replied.

Meanwhile, she decided to pull a page out of  the POTUS playbook and cussed the journalist. She said, "I just want you to know how I am perceiving your interview here is more of an attack piece on me."

Greene added, "And I don’t know who is putting you up to it, and I don’t know why you’re writing it, but I think it’s absolute bulls**t and I’m going to completely reject it."

"I don’t have to answer any more of your questions because I am sick and tired of your narrative and I’m calling it out as complete and total bulls***," she later added.

Greene said, "So we’re done—no we’re done," before cutting the interview short by hanging up.

Leslie Marshall criticizes MTG for her rude behavior toward reporter

Leslie Marshall called out Greene’s rude behavior and said, "You can disagree with somebody, even somebody asking hard questions, and not swear and not yell and not hang up on them."

She added, "It is a fair question because Marjorie Taylor Greene has flip-flopped and waffled herself between her support for the president and then things that she has criticized him for, or has been more with some of the tea party members like Rand Paul."

Meanwhile, Greene is not known for having a warm relationship with the press. She had earlier lashed out at a British reporter and also accused PBS reporters of being communists, Daily Beast reported.

During the Sunday show on Fox News, reporter Caroline Downey added that she wasn’t a "huge fan of all these new trends of filming yourself in public with reporters," and didn’t think that Greene understood the president’s move.

She told Kurtz, "I think Marjorie Taylor Greene is misunderstanding that Trump has always been consistent that America-first is not compatible with a nuclear Iran; he is just the only one of all the presidents in the past to address it. This has been his consistent position for a long time."

Internet slams Marjorie Taylor Greene

Several internet users slammed Marjorie Taylor Greene for cussing out a reporter during a phone interview last week, and uploading the clip on social media.

A user wrote on X, "We don’t need reporters to tell us anything. We all see you posting really stupid things, right here on X. Americans were never attacked by Iran? Why don’t you just sit down and shut up," while one added, "I don’t care what you @RepMTG had to say to him. You’ve lost any credibility you might have had. Your behavior was reprehensible. Your job is to stand by President Trump. Loyalty is everything. Causing division helps no one. You chose division."

A person also stated, "Cringe....," whereas one mentioned, "You showed your hand. Own it.You showed your hand. Own it."

A user also wrote, "YOU definitely didn’t agree with President Trump bombing nuclear sights in Iran… just f*****g OWN it and move on…pretty simple," while one commented, "I just unfollowed I’ve had enough of her trash talking! Peace through strength! I stand with President Trump!"
