LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Frank Sinatra’s daughter Nancy Sinatra slammed a Donald Trump supporter after they claimed that if the late singer were alive now, he would have voted for the Republican leader.

The X (formerly Twitter) user commented on a post by Nancy, where she shared a link to a Forbes article titled "Frank Sinatra Reaches A Special Milestone In One Of His Music’s Busiest Weeks In Memory."

The person commented on her post, “He'd vote for Trump. Woot woot.”

But the 84-year-old singer fired back, saying, “Not a chance. You obviously don't know my father at all. Do some homework before you post about him.”

Many people on the internet agreed with Nancy Sinatra and slammed the X user.

An X user asked, “Why are people so obsessed with, so in love with Trump, that they have to just do this…whatever this is?"

Another user wrote, “Dead at y'all in the comments telling her she's wrong about HER OWN FATHER who most of you never met lmao.”

“No way he would vote for that horrible person,” one person said.

Another commented, “Yeah that’s something that would never happen.”

One netizen remarked, “Your dad would never vote for the man who's occupying the White House now. He was a very principled man.”

“My dad and Mr Sinatra were not good friends. On the other hand, my father told me that Mr Sinatra was a good and decent man. Voting for Trump would be a very bad and indecent thing to do,” another claimed.

Nancy Sinatra had earlier also made the same claim while showing her disapproval of Donald Trump.

In 2020, when the 78-year-old was serving his first term, he paid tribute to the late actor while talking about his plans for a National Garden of Heroes, suggesting that Frank’s statue will be featured alongside George Washington and Amelia Earhart.

But Mia Farrow, who was once married to the ‘Come Fly with Me’ singer, said, “Frank Sinatra would have loathed Donald Trump,” as per The Independent.

Nancy also agreed with her as she added, “He actually did loathe him.”

Donald Trump says we gave the world ‘the style of Frank Sinatra’

During his July Mount Rushmore speech, Trump claimed, “We gave the world the poetry of Walt Whitman, the stories of Mark Twain, the songs of Irving Berlin, the voice of Ella Fitzgerald, the style of Frank Sinatra, the comedy of Bob Hope, the power of the Saturn V rocket, the toughness of the Ford F-150, and the awesome might of the American aircraft carriers.”

He continued, “We will raise the next generation of American patriots. We will write the next thrilling chapter of the American adventure.”

“And we will teach our children to know that they live in a land of legends, that nothing can stop them, and that no one can hold them down,” he added.
