The pair dressed casually for the occasion, with Amal, 46, sporting denim cutoffs and George, 63, donning a black polo shirt as they held hands during their outing.
This brief respite comes as the couple prepares for an extended separation as George heads to New York City to make his Broadway debut in 'Good Night, and Good Luck.'

While George is excited about his first foray into Broadway, the arrangement will keep him away from his family for six months. Amal and their seven-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, will remain at their estate in France where the children are settled in school and enjoy a sense of privacy.
“George has never done Broadway before, and he’s thrilled about the opportunity, but between rehearsals and performances, it means he will spend six months in NYC,” an insider shared with Life & Style.
“Amal is going to remain in France, where their two children are settled in — and there’s no denying this is going to test their 10-year marriage,” the source added.
Ealier in their relationship, Amal would have just gone with George. But now that the couple’s twins Alexander and Ella are seven years old, it’s no longer an option.
A source said that Amal and George's parenting priorities have shifted. “We’re not going to uproot our kids out of school and run around,” George explained in a recent interview. The family’s 425-acre estate, Domaine le Canadel, offers a rare sense of normalcy, away from paparazzi and media frenzy.
The couple has decided to test out a long-distance setup for the next six months. An insider shared, "They’re going to stay in touch over FaceTime and text. George will be able to speak to the kids every night before bedtime, taking the time difference into consideration. And Amal might be able to fly out for the occasional weekend visit.”
However, the insider acknowledged that past separations due to work have occasionally strained Amal and George's marriage.

George Clooney has revealed that his upcoming onstage performances in New York will be a temporary commitment, with the actor making it clear that this is a "one-time deal."
