George Clooney reveals best thing about working with longtime friend Brad Pitt ahead of 'Wolfs' release
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: George Clooney is reflecting on the several films he has completed over the years with Brad Pitt, his longtime friend and co-star in their upcoming movie 'Wolfs.'
George, 63, recounted his long friendship with Pitt, 60, but not before hurling a few lighthearted digs at the actor, while attending the Venice Film Festival on Sunday, September 1.

"There's nothing good about it," he joked to People Magazine while shaking his head and signing autographs on the carpet. "It's all a disaster."
George Clooney added in a serious tone, "It's fun to work with people you know really well." He, along with the 'Fight Club' actor, went to the premiere with their significant others, Amal Clooney and Pitt's girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.
What is George Clooney and Brad Pitt's upcoming movie about?
Pitt and Clooney play lone fixers assigned to the same task in the thriller 'Wolfs'. The pair have acted together in a number of other movies throughout the years in addition to the 'Ocean' trilogy, 'Burn After Reading', and 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.'
On Sunday, Clooney also spoke at the festival about a contentious New York Times piece that surfaced recently and stated that he and Pitt received "more than $35 million each" for their parts in 'Wolfs.'
George Clooney says he and Brad Pitt gave back a significant chunk of their salaries in an effort to help 'Wolfs' get a wider theatrical release.

"[It was] an interesting article and whatever her source was for our salary, it is millions and millions and millions of dollars less than what was reported. And I am only saying that because I think it’s bad for our industry if that’s what people think is the standard bearer for salaries," Clooney said while speaking alongside Pitt ahead of the movie's premiere.
"I think that’s terrible, it’ll make it impossible to make films."
George Clooney and Brad Pitt discussed having each other's back during complicated times
In the latest edition of GQ, George and Pitt divulged more details about their connection and candidly shared how they help one another when "things get bumpy."
"We’ve been friends for a long time," Clooney told the magazine. "And it’s fun because we also check in on each other every once in a while, which is an important part of this. Things get complicated in life and you always have to make sure everybody’s okay."
Pitt added that his costar is "probably the best at understanding, seeing the chessboard and the potential moves."
"I’ll call George on numerous occasions when things get bumpy," he said.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt excited to collaborate on another movie together
According to a source who spoke with People Magazine in February, the lifelong friends were eager to work together on a new film.
"Brad and George are forever friends," the source said.
"They like and respect each other no matter how many years in between gigs together. They go way back, and were happy to work together on this film. Wolfs was a meaty project and both took a real interest in it,” the source added.
"They are excited about the film, and enjoying the hell out of it as time leads up to the release."
'Wolfs' will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting on September 27 and will open in theaters on September 20.
