George Clooney 'still pinches himself' that wife Amal 'agreed to marry him' despite spending a decade with her, reveals insider
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actor George Clooney reportedly adores and finds it unbelievable that his lawyer wife Amal Clooney agreed to marry him.
The 'Ocean's Eleven' star's intense affection for the barrister and their 6-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, has only heightened over time. The actor is spending the holidays with his family.
The couple recently marked their ninth wedding anniversary, centered on reports, that their relationship has only gotten stronger over time.
Recently, George found himself trailing behind his stunning wife Amal at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles, where he was attending the premiere of his film, 'The Boys in the Boat'.
George Clooney 'adores Amal', a source reveals
According to a close insider, George continues to be amazed that Amal, a well-known human rights attorney, consented to marry him almost ten years ago.
The insider stated that George "adores Amal." Almost 10 years into their marriage, George "still pinches himself that she agreed to marry him," the insider added, as per OK! Magazine.
Having met the brunette beauty through a mutual acquaintance at a dinner party at the 'Batman & Robin' actor's Lake Como, Italy, residence, George, 62, married Amal, 45, in 2014.
The 'Ticket to Paradise' star has never been afraid to show off his love for Amal. He has expressed his affection for the philanthropist in several interviews throughout their marriage.
The couple recently celebrated their ninth anniversary, and a source claimed that George and Amal "are more in love than ever, and they can't picture their lives with anyone else."
"They've formed a real partnership, taking turns with taking the kids to activities and preparing their [meals]," the insider added.
George recently chuckled and said that he has been feeling "slighted" by all the attention his wife is getting.
"My entire career has been reduced to a plus-one now," George quipped at the time. "I did one of those Women in Film things a couple years ago, and I had to introduce myself as 'Amal Clooney's husband' because, honestly, I was dead otherwise," he remarked.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight before his September 2022 anniversary, George quipped about how people argued that their marriage would not last.
The Hollywood actor said at the time, "Eight years! And they said it wouldn't last. Everything about my wife is sort of magical, as I think everybody has come to realize as they see her and hear her and hear what she stands for."
"There's just not a downside to her," he added.
Amal took care to mention her longtime partner during an interview with Time magazine for an accompanying article after she was chosen the magazine's Woman of the Year in 2022.
"Marriage has been wonderful. I have in my husband a partner who is incredibly inspirational and supportive, and we have a home filled with love and laughter," she said at the time, describing the life she and George created together.
Speaking about the 'Up in the Air' star and their daughter, Amal said, "It is a joy beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I feel so lucky to have found a great love in my life, and to be a mother — this is how I get my balance."
