George Stephanopoulos gives 'GMA' a miss to celebrate wife Ali Wentworth's 59th birthday
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Co-host George Stephanopoulos remained absent from the January 12 episode of 'Good Morning America' as he celebrated his wife Ali Wentworth's birthday.
According to The US Sun, his latest break from the show comes days after he shared the news of a major career move on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Wentworth revealed the whereabouts of the missing morning show host on Friday.
In a photograph captioned, "Birthday walk!" the couple is seen in a warm location surrounded by palm trees. Dressed in a navy t-shirt and sporting a baseball cap, Stephanopoulos pulled a happy face to the camera while walking next to his wife.
By his side, Wentworth had her arm extended to snap the photograph. She is seen wearing a black top and a light brown straw hat, smiling at the camera.

Wentworth turned 59 on the day and shared a few more posts on her social media to commemorate the occasion.
In one post, she wished radio show host Howard Stern, with whom she shares her birthday. "Celebrating with my birthday twin @howardstern couldn’t love this human more! (He’s shy)," she wrote in the caption accompanying a photograph of the two, with Stern's face hidden by an emoji.

George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth share major update
The couple took to social media on January 5 to share the news of continuation of a former project. A documentary on Brooke Shields that they produced through their production company, BedBy8, was released in January 2023 on Hulu. On January 8, 'Pretty Baby' aired on ABC, making it available to a wider audience.
Posting the trailer of the film on Instagram, Stephanopoulos wrote in the caption, "'I’m amazed that I survived any of it.' #PrettyBaby tells the moving story of @BrookeShields discovering and embracing her own identity and agency as she was sexualized while coming of age and rising to stardom."
