GMA's George Stephanopoulos enjoys family time in Japan as wife Ali Wentworth shares vacation snaps
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: George Stephanopoulos went to Japan with his wife Ali Wentworth, and daughters, Harper and Elliot, for a family trip over the holidays.
Wentworth, 58, took to Instagram to share snaps from the trip, which showed the whereabouts of Stephanopoulos after the 62-year-old continues to be on an extended hiatus from his hosting duties at 'Good Morning America' for over a week.
According to The US Sun, the family trip to Tokyo took place as Stephanopoulos and Wentworth were getting accustomed to being empty-nesters back home, while their daughters were off to college.
While visiting the TeamLabs museum in Japan, the family was joined by comedian Jerry Seinfeld, 69, his wife Jessica, 52, and their kids, with Wentworth uploading a picture of them together enjoying the exhibits.

Sharing highlights from the family trip, Wentworth uploaded a series of photographs on the social media platform.
The first picture in the carousel showed the group sitting on a mirrored floor and admiring a ceiling filled with flowers. The second showed Stephanopoulos and Wentworth standing in front of an exhibit, while the following had their daughter Elliot joining them at a separate location.
The next image shared by Wentworth was the close-up of a hedgehog nestled in someone's hand, while the final one of the post was a group shot of everyone eating sushi at a restaurant.
The post was captioned "Lost in translation…." which was a reference to the 2003 Golden Globe-winning film shot entirely in Japan.

The post was captioned, "My babies in the Bamboo Forest…"
According to The Sun, the photograph was taken in the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, also known as the Sagano Bamboo Forest.

Weekend host Whit Johnson, 41, has been filling in for the star since, with fans wondering when the regular host will return.
