The new faces on 'Good Morning America'
Roberts has been absent from her hosting duties on the morning talk show since January 19, along with her co-host Michael Strahan. Co-host George Stephanopoulos, 62, appeared on the show that day alongside Eva Pilgrim, 41, and Gio Benitez, 38, who replaced Roberts and Strahan respectively at the news desk.
The missing regular co-hosts were not mentioned on air. While Roberts was off to Utah, Strahan was reportedly in the Bahamas to celebrate the birthday of his mother, according to The Sun.
However, the publication further mentions Strahan's return to the United States, as he made his appearance at 'Fox NFL Sunday' that week, and where he works as an analyst.
Strahan has been missing from earlier episodes of 'GMA' this year as well, since his daughter Isabella, 19, appeared on the show to reveal being diagnosed with brain cancer in an interview with Roberts.
