MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: President Joe Biden recently claimed to be the sole victor over Donald Trump, but Seth Meyers was quick to point out that this assertion isn't entirely accurate.

Meyers' remark hints at the array of obstacles Trump has encountered, including legal disputes with individuals like E Jean Carroll, a New York writer who secured over $80 million in damages in a defamation lawsuit against the former president.

Additionally, Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, led a civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, culminating in a substantial $355 million judgment against him last month.

In light of these developments, Meyers noted, "In a profile published yesterday in The New Yorker, President Biden said he will beat former president Trump."

"That's true unless you count E Jean Carroll, Letitia James, COVID, the free market, and ramps," added the 'Late Night' host during the episode aired on March 6.

In a recent interview with the New Yorker, President Biden asserted, "I’m the only one who has ever beat" Trump, addressing skepticism surrounding his candidacy.

He further pondered, "If you thought you were best positioned to beat someone who, if they won, would change the nature of America, what would you do?".

On being asked if he would run for President, he replied, “No."

“But, look, if I didn’t think that the policies I put in place were best for the country, I don’t think I’d be doing it again. I’m running again because I think two things: No. 1, I’m really proud of my record, and I want to keep it going. I’m optimistic about the future," Biden added.

He continued, “And, secondly, I look out there, and I say, ‘OK, we’re just—most of what I’ve done is just kicking in now."'
