LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gwen Stefani isn’t just tagging along on Blake Shelton’s tour for fun, she’s reportedly on a full-blown health mission.

Sources tell RadarOnline that the pop icon is traveling with her country singer husband to stop him from diving face-first into a junk food spiral while on the road.

“She obviously misses him when he's on tour, but the bigger reason is she wants to check up on him,” said an insider. “When she's not there, all his healthy habits go out the window – he gorges on fried food and gets lazy about exercise.”

At 6-foot-5 and known for his big appetite, Blake Shelton, 48, has famously battled his weight. And it’s no secret his lean, fitness-minded wife, 55, wants to keep him in line. Gwen is now taking a more hands-on approach showing up at select tour stops to oversee his diet and fitness.

“When she's around, she makes sure that Blake eats well and that he works out even though he doesn't always appreciate it,” said the source.

They further spilled, “He enjoys a little space and feels the distance does them good, so he isn't too happy about being treated like a junk-food junkie. But he also doesn't push back.”

The 'God’s Country' singer “finds it claustrophobic and irritating, but he'll do what he's told". "The reason he got Gwen in the first place was his happy wife, happy life attitude," said the insider.

Back in March, rumors swirled that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s seemingly picture-perfect marriage was on the edge and it had nothing to do with Hollywood drama or career rivalry. It was about hunting and fishing

After Shelton exited 'The Voice' in May 2023 and wrapped his Las Vegas residency early this year, the country star leaned full-time into his outdoor passions. For him, it wasn’t just a break, it was a return to “God’s country". But for Stefani, that retreat into the wild came with baggage she hadn’t signed up for.

An insider shared, “Now that Blake is no longer tied down with work, he likes to take off on hunting and fishing trips, even though he's not very good at it.”

“Hunting and fishing is one of those things I'm never going to master," Shelton admitted.

“I'm never gonna dominate the hunting and fishing world, and 99.9 percent of the time, I'm gonna lose. I'm gonna fail. And that's what keeps me hooked," he added.
