Gwyneth Paltrow quips about having 'dated all the Brads in Hollywood' in viral 'suspect challenge' trend
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gwyneth Paltrow joined goop's TikTok to make jokes about dating Brad Pitt and marrying Brad Falchuk in addition to embracing her "nepo baby" heritage and kissing Timothee Chalamet.
The 52-year-old Oscar winner joined the viral "suspect challenge" trend on Friday, November 22, by appearing on the TikTok page of her wellness and lifestyle brand, Goop.
Poking fun at her dating history, Paltrow put her own twist on the popular "suspect" trend where one person mocks the other while pretending to provide police-inspired accounts during an excruciatingly lengthy pursuit.
Gwyneth Paltrow claims to have dated 'all the Brads' in the entertainment industry
The Oscar-winning actress laughed about her past relationships, kissing co-star Timothee Chalamet on the set of their upcoming film, and other things in the video, captioned "Guilty as charged #suspectchallenge."
Someone from Paltrow's filming crew said, "Suspect has dated all the Brads in Hollywood," in the clip to which Paltrow replied, "Cheers to that," as she took a sip and clinked two martini glasses together.
The actress dated Brad Pitt from 1994 to 1997 who co-starred with her in 1995's 'Se7en,' according to People. She is currently married to producer-writer Brad Falchuk, who has worked on 'Glee' and 'The Politician.'
Paltrow and Pitt, now 60, are still friendly ex-partners over 30 years after they started dating. Although they got engaged in December 1996, the couple split up the following summer.
She reflected on the breakup by saying, "I think I was a kid and I wasn’t ready. He was too good for me," during a January 2015 appearance on 'The Howard Stern Show.'
"I honestly do think I was too young and didn’t know what I was doing," she added, according to Us Weekly.
The two even got back together for a 2022 interview that was posted on Goop's website where they talked about their relationship.
Pitt remarked at the time, "Oh man, everything works out, doesn't it? It's lovely to have you as a friend now."
"Yes, it does. I finally found the Brad I was supposed to marry. It just took me 20 years," Paltrow quipped in return.
Gwyneth Paltrow reacts to being called 'nepo baby' and 'kissing Timothee Chalamet on set'
Gwyneth Paltrow, the former wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin with whom she has two children, Apple and Moses, also made a joke about having two "nepo babies" while she herself is one.
The actress laughed when she heard a joke about her children, Apple and Moses, as part of Paltrow's involvement in the "suspect" trend: "Suspect loved being a nepo baby so much she created two of her own."
For those who are unaware, Paltrow is the daughter of producer-director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner.
Additionally, she took a sip when her 28-year-old co-star Chalamet from 'Marty Supreme' was mentioned, "Suspect said they were done with acting but was spotted on DeuxMoi kissing Timothée Chalamet on set."
The video also included lighthearted jabs at Paltrow's leaving her paleo diet, her prominent interest in growing Goop's TikTok despite her lack of knowledge about the platform, and her penchant for throwing dinner parties that end by 8 pm.
In 2014, the Oscar winner met Falchuk while working on the 'Glee' set. The couple exchanged vows at the wellness tycoon's house in East Hampton, New York, four years later.
Paltrow became the stepmother of Falchuk's son Brody and daughter Isabella following the wedding, whom Falchuk shares with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.
