GOLDEN MEADOW, LOUISIANA: Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend, Ken Urker, are about to embark on a new chapter as parents, and the couple recently revealed the gender of their baby in a heartwarming Instagram post.
The 33-year-old was released from prison on December 28, 2023, after serving approximately eight years of a 10-year sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard.

Gypsy, a victim of Munchausen by proxy, planned the murder of her mother with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn. Clauddine was found dead in her home on June 14, 2015.
According to WebMD, Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSP), also known as factitious disorder imposed on another, is a psychological disorder in which a caregiver, often a parent, deliberately induces or fabricates symptoms of illness in a person under their care, typically a child.
