Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson separated after realizing 'getting married too soon' was a mistake
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her estranged husband Ryan Anderson have reportedly realized they made a 'mistake' after tying the knot too soon while the media sensation was still in prison.
A source close to the estranged couple recently shared with a news publication per OK! Magazine that they realized their error in taking the marriage decision too soon. The famous couple shocked the world after announcing earlier this month that they have separated.

Earlier in April, Gypsy shocked the world when she filed for divorce from her husband along with a request of restraining order, after tying the knot while still in prison for plotting the 2015 murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard.
An insider with close knowledge of their situation recently shared with the outlet that, "They both realized they’d made a mistake getting married. It was too much too soon.”
Gypsy and Ryan connected in 2020 after he sent a letter to the then-inmate. After realizing their chemistry, they soon tied the knot while Gypsy was still serving the sentence in June 2022.
The insider explained, "Ryan’s letters helped her feel less lonely while she was locked up.”
Nevertheless, their chemistry started weaning off when Gypsy was released towards the end of 2023 and she tasted freedom, as the mole dished, "It was too much of a struggle in the real world.”
The insider claimed that Gypsy would rather prefer to be single than to struggle in an unhappy marriage, and said, “They didn’t really know each other well enough and she’d rather be single."
Thus, while her divorce filing earlier this month shocked many of her fans, her close friends were not as much shocked.
During a recent interview with People earlier in April, her friend and tattoo artist Nadiya Vizier opened up about the tension in their marriage.
Vizier shared one instance of the couple’s fight and said, "He got in her face and screamed. Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her.”
Vizier continued, "He didn't — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared," before adding, "But she got to safety and called her lawyer, too. Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary."
Ryan Anderson says he was completely surprised by decision
While several sources are insinuating that the divorce decision was a mutual one, Ryan shared in an interview with Daily Mail that he was completely blindsided by the decision.
Ryan said, "I’m not doing well with it," before adding, "For me, it just came out of the blue."
In January, he nevertheless gushed about his marriage and told People, "Gypsy and I have always been very open and honest with each other.”
He continued, "Even honesty to a fault. Gypsy wants to be so honest that she'll say things that hurt my feelings and vice versa. But that's one of the things I think that makes us stronger is that we are willing to lay it all out on the table.”
“But also, one thing I love about us is after an argument, it's done. We hold no resentment,” added Gypsy’s estranged husband.
